Its proximity to the centre of Bern was a real advantage.

The hotel allows smoking in all but one of its restaurants, and in the hotel lobby. This is not acceptable as many of its patrons are from the US and EU where smoking in public areas is not allowed. Moreover, it is not good practice to effectively force Front Office and waiting staff to have to work in a smoky environment.

All of the staff were absolutely excellent and seemed very concerned to make our stay the best. It felt like very personal service for a large hotel. Also, the location was excellent. It was easy to either walk or take the tram to everything we wanted to go to. The room was quite nice with a modern decor and a lot of light.

The airconditioning would go off when we took our card out of the slot in the room when we left the room, and if we left it in, the housekeepers took it out. After complaining about this, however, the hotel reprogrammed the AC so this would not happen. It was a really great response to our concern and reflected the excellent service at the hotel.

The view is good.

We arrived at 2:30PM and the room was not ready. The door was opened at midnight by the staff while we were sleeping. Very scary!!!!!!!

the front desk told us we had a view of the city and alps....we had a view of the wall next door. we notified them of this error and the front desk was very rude and would not change our booking. despite the high quality facilities, the service level was awful and we would never return to this hotel.

The staff were very nice. The rooms were very clean and nice. The locale was perfect- close to conference center and to downtown.

The room temperature was too warm. Other guests that I spoke with experienced the same issue. The restaurant service was only fair.

Modern Hotel, Central location.

Small room for the price, details mentioned welcome drink and fruits in the room... none were present.

The dinner staff and the quality of the food.

I wish you had provided more details regarding the Atrium room. It was like living in a cell. Had I known, I would have spent the extra money for a room with a view and some fresh air.
